“Women in Focus” is a two-day event presented by Ladïbug Studios and Colour Co. Rentals, dedicated to empowering and celebrating women + non-binary individuals in the film industry. This event features a mixer, film screenings, panel discussions, film workshops, and giveaways, providing a platform for education, community building, and resource access.
What started as a content series has bloomed into our first Women in Focus Summit, a celebration of women + non-binary folks behind the camera! Colour co. Rentals and Ladibug studios , join forces to curate a 2-day event packed with opportunities to connect, learn, and be inspired by the talented folks in our community! Day 1: Join us for an unforgettable opening reception + mixer presented by Ladïbug Studios! Enjoy film screenings, mixers, office hours, and giveaways. Day 2: Get ready for a day packed with immersive learning experiences presented by Colour Co. Rentals! Enhance your skills through lectures and hands-on camera & lighting demos tailored towards those working in those departments. We saw a need to recognize not only the underrepresented women & non-binary folks in our industry but also the need to create a safe space where genuine connections flourish, fostering enrichment and inspiration.
