The Fiscal Sponsorship Director will be responsible for:
- Communications to Project Directors (PD’s) on everything, including donations and disbursement requests, requests for feedback, mentoring and connecting with the documentary industry.
- Collect and evaluate progress reports
- Crowdfunding set up/planning for PD’s
- Reporting and follow-up for project grants
- New project on-boarding and recommendations for follow-up meetings
- Managing deliverables for all new projects including:
Orientation calls
Creating project websites - Input on Fresh Docs Program projects
- New Projects Panel review
- Communications: newsletter, website, & FB/Twitter
- Working Seed&Spark on crowdfunding webinars and support
- Bank deposits
- Working with bookkeeper on documentation.
- Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience
- Film production experience required.
- Exceptional organizational and planning skills, with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects effectively and collaboratively.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communications skills.
- Grant writing experience preferred.
- Excellent customer service attitude.
- Proficient in all MS Office products, experience with Google Apps and CRM programs preferred.
- Understanding of email newsletter programs (Constant Contact/Mail Chimp) and social media platforms, some knowledge of HTML.
- Commitment to documentary storytelling.
- Racial Equity Institute training preferred.
This is a part-time, hourly position, at 25-30 hours per week. Days/times are flexible. Pay range: $18 – $22 per hour, depending on experience level.
